How care for natural latex products?
The answer is simple: you don’t have to.
This material is low-maintenance and very hygienic: it is ventilated, does not absorb moisture, does not accumulate dust, does not trap odors and always maintains the same temperature.
You won’t see any mites, mold or even a hint of staleness. The only thing you can do is to change covers and protectors and regularly wash the bed linen.
And, to increase the life span of products made of natural latex, you need to follow the recommendations:
- Do not use chemical cleaners
- Do not store them near heaters, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- Prevent sharp objects from coming into contact with latex products to avoid punctures or tears
- Do not store products in a vacuum package for longer than 3 months. Please note that, after being stored in a vacuum, it takes from 2 to 7 days for the product to regain its shape.
In case of staining, wipe the area with a damp cloth/sponge. If necessary, hand wash in a soapy water at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees, using ordinary bar soap. Rinse until the soap is completely removed. After the water drains move dry the product in a well-ventilated, warm room or under a fan. Do not dry under direct sunlight or near heater.
